Long Term Vision

The linkage between the various elements is a unique feature and seeks to meet the academic and vocational aspirations of a strong cohort of young players within the county. It provides young people with opportunities to develop their skills and ability in sport, whilst at the same time improving their educational and career prospects.

A Proven Record

The quality of our provision has been confirmed with the favourable findings of the Curriculum Area Assessment (Inspection) undertaken by Her Majesty's Inspectorate.

They stated that, "Staff in the West Wales Sports Academy provide particularly effective support to students from across the college. They encourage them to achieve an appropriate balance between the demands of their courses sports participation and social life".
